Five U.S. and Canadian eye care teams and individuals have been named Contact Lens Institute™ (CLI) Culture Award winners, recognizing their impact on fostering contact lens cultures that enhance patient experiences and business success. The honorees regularly exhibit behaviors and actions reflected in CLI’s recent See Tomorrow reports, which are available for free download at https://www.contactlensinstitute.org/resources/see-tomorrow/.
“We congratulate the 2025 recipients, who represent a broad range of practice settings, career stages, and communities across the U.S. and Canada,” said Stan Rogaski, executive director of the Contact Lens Institute. “Each honoree exemplifies how a strong contact lens culture can elevate patient care while also contributing to practice growth and long-term success. Their impacts provide a powerful example for the profession alongside award winners from the prior two years.”

CLI expects to open nominations for the 2026 Culture Awards next summer.
CLI’s See Tomorrow initiative explores perspectives and behaviors that can influence contact lens fitting and wear. Its latest, no-cost research report, “Shifting Focus: Generational Perspectives of Contact Lenses & Eye Care” analyzes how Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X evaluate eye care providers, practices and products.

The 2025 Contact Lens Institute™ (CLI) Culture Awards honors eye care professionals who foster a positive contact lens culture, demonstrating behaviors that elevate patient experiences and support business success, as reflected in CLI’s recent See Tomorrow research reports.
CLI Culture Awards are designed to discover outstandi
ng contact lens prescribing practices, then inspire others to adopt the same.
Individuals within the U.S. and Canadian eye care community who prescribe or support soft contact lenses are eligible for consideration. Current CLI Visionaries and their practices are not eligible. Previous winners will continue to be celebrated and do not need to reapply. Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.
Nominators simply need to provide a concise response (750 words or less in total) that addresses at least two of the following questions:
To improve the chances of being recognized, nominators may reference positive contact lens behaviors identified in recent See Tomorrow reports, which are available for on-screen reading and/or download from https://www.contactlensinstitute.org/resources/see-tomorrow/.
Nominations must include the name/location/practice name/contact information of the candidate(s), as well as the name/affiliation/contact information for the nominator. Groups are eligible as long as all individuals are named, with a clearly designated leader. The 2025 entries were due November 3, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET.
